For the past 12 years Hubert has been working for Love Does Not Exclude Association (MNW), the first Polish LGBT+ organisation campaigning for marriage equality for same-sex couples, developing and implementing communication strategies. Most recently he has been focusing on combating politically motivated disinformation campaigns targeting LGBT+ community. In his work he combines fact-checking, alternative narratives, and collective-care techniques to boost communications as well as resilience of NGOs.

"Constanța Dohotaru, born 1990, based in Chisinau, Moldova. Co-founder and program director of ""LAOLALTĂ"" ngo (meaning ""Together""). Ron Haviv

Ron Haviv is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker, award-winning photojournalist, and co-founder of the photo agency VII, dedicated to documenting conflict and raising human rights issues around the globe. He is also the co-founder of the non-profit VII Foundation, which concentrates on documentary projects and provides free visual journalism education. Haviv has produced an unflinching record of the injustices of war covering over twenty-five conflicts, and his photography has had singular impact. His work in the Balkans, which spanned over a decade of conflict, was used as evidence to indict and convict war criminals at the international tribunal in The Hague. President George H.W. Bush cited Haviv’s chilling photographs documenting paramilitary violence in Panama as one of the reasons for the 1989 American intervention. Mariam Naiem

Mariam Naiem is Ukrainian of Afghan origin. She has a degree in cultural studies, and she talks, teaches, and writes on topics of culture. Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, she has tried to make the broad English-speaking community understand the cultural context of the Russian war in Ukraine. In particular,her aim is to bring understanding of the colonial and racial aspects and practices of Russian culture with respect to Ukraine and other peoples colonized by Russia. She also works on decolonizing the discourse on Ukraine in order to center Ukrainian voices and de-center Russian and pro-Russian imperialist narratives. She aims to be a bridge between English-speaking audiences and Ukrainians due to her personal experiences with Ukrainian and Western cultures.
Magdalena Wilczyńska

Magdalena Wilczyńska is an expert in countering disinformation and human rights lawyer (LL.M., CEU). She worked at the Polish Ombudsman Office, focusing on freedom of expression and rule of law. Recently she worked at Debunk EU and at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in the field of disinformation and Russian propaganda. She is a Ph.D. candidate in the Polish Academy of Science. Her thesis is on the legal solutions for disinformation. Currently she works at TechSoup Europe as an expert on countering disinformation.
Mariami Kvaratskhelia

Mariami Kvaratskhelia is recognized as a prominent leader in the LGBTIQ+ community. She has been at the forefront of the movement as a co-founder and director of Tbilisi Pride, tirelessly campaigning and advocating for LGBTIQ+ equality, human rights, and democracy in Georgia for more than eight years. Mariam has been one of the organizers of the annual Tbilisi Pride Week since 2019. Unfortunately, these events have been marred by violence on several occasions, including this year's pride festival on July 8th, which was violently attacked and disrupted by Russia-linked extremist groups. Despite these challenges, Mariam's steadfast determination remains unwavering as she continues to champion the cause of equality and social justice for all.

Farah Salka

Farah Salka is a Lebanese-Syrian feminist organizer, co-founder and co-director of the Anti-Racism Movement (ARM) and Migrant Community Centers. She has been organizing with migrant communities, asylum seekers, migrant women and migrant domestic workers for over a decade. The MCC provides space, support, and resources to sustain MDW-community networks and assist migrant workers, MDW activists, and MDW-led initiatives. It mobilizes collaboration and solidarity between local activists and migrant domestic workers in Lebanon. Farah serves different advisory roles with the A Project (Lebanon), Ars Electronica (Linz), MamaCash (Netherlands), FTS (Mena) and the Equality Fund (Canada).
